Crazy Kiwi ...creativity takes a wierd turn

It's been hot hot hot here! Can you believe that I can complain about heat after the cold winter spring and ...up till now, summer, we've had in this part of the country? Last week we were wearing sweaters and saying it felt like fall already.
I whimped out and hauled the portable airconditiong unit that's been in it's shipping box, unopened in the back of the closet for the last two summers.

I'm sitting right in front of it packing up the beads that I should have shipped out yesterday.
I made just two beads yesterday before I gave up. I did a crazy Kiwi (or could it be an olive?) wearing a fake nose moustache, eyebrows and glasses a-la- Groucho Marx. Must have been the heat getting to me! It's a strange bead but I love it! It's one of those beads that makes me smile, bizarre and a little silly. An example of what can happen to my creativity when I'm overheated I guess!
I also did a Sylvester Tab with the same face on each side. It's gotta be the heat getting to me. Neiter one is like my usual beads!

There should be Specials tomorrow. I have the pictures and just need to get the HTML finished so I can post them on the website.

Oh my goodness...I can't imagine living without air conditioning. It must be wonderful to be able to open the windows almost every single day of the summer. I always love to imagine what it's like to live up North. But I also can't imagine the long winter and snow shoveling/blowing. Can't wait to see what you have in your specials tomorrow!
